Form protection

Public contact forms need layered protection.

Contact forms are useful, but they are also a common target for bots, SEO spam, fake finance messages, phishing links, and automated junk submissions.

Honeypot trap

A hidden field is added to the form. Real users do not see it, but simple bots may complete it. If that happens, the submission is rejected before email is sent.

Cloudflare Turnstile

Turnstile helps distinguish genuine users from automated or suspicious traffic. The visible widget is backed by server-side verification before the form is accepted.

Content filtering

Obvious junk patterns such as SEO spam, shortened links, fake finance offers, and generic website-marketing messages can be rejected before they reach the inbox.

Maintenance

Small, regular checks prevent bigger problems.

Maintenance does not need to be mysterious. For a simple business website, useful maintenance may include checking forms, reviewing logs, testing pages, updating content, checking backups, reviewing security settings, and confirming that contact pathways still work.

Website rescue

When a site looks unsafe, stop guessing.

If a website has been taken offline, suspected of compromise, spammed through forms, or overloaded with unknown code, the priority is to contain the risk and avoid making the evidence worse.

Contain

Stop the immediate harm where possible. That may mean taking a site offline, disabling a risky form, preserving files, or stopping a compromised pathway.

Review

Look for likely causes and visible evidence without assuming the first symptom is the full problem. Old files, plugins, scripts, users, and integrations all matter.

Rebuild cleanly

Where the old site cannot be trusted, the safer answer is often a clean rebuild using only the content and business requirements as reference, not old code.
